In addition to private practice work, Dr. Bayer previously worked as an Instructor in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed psychological and neuropsychological evaluations to a diverse patient population at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, as well as held a supervisory role for psychology interns and externs.
Dr. Bayer received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University. She then earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in School Psychology and subsequently a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, where she specialized in School-Clinical Child Psychology. After graduation, Dr. Bayer completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in child clinical neuropsychology at the Promise Project of Columbia University Medical Center.
